Garry Bevan
Originally from the UK, Garry is a highly experienced scuba professional, cruise director, and yacht guide. In June of 1995, he traveled half-way across the world to make a headline appearance as the best man (debatable) at his best friend’s wedding. However, he quickly became inexplicably engaged in the task of managing a brand new luxury dive resort on the north coast of the island before the wedding ceremony had even begun. After a very short time he found out that he quite liked the laid-back scuba instructor lifestyle, and didn’t bother to go home, much to the relief of the British public.
Now, after spending the best part of his adult life exploring the enigmatic oceans of the Indonesian archipelago, he has finally managed to publish not one, but two unique scuba diving cruise guides that focus on two of the country’s most iconic diving destinations, Komodo and Raja Ampat.
Hopefully, there will be more to follow in the future - if he manages to wake up and get some work done.
